Main goal : Optimistic estimate: 10% (~ many man-hours) of applications needs to be modified when transitioning to other paradigms ? How can be change this ?

  • Descriptive vs prescriptive
  • Implemented on top of CUDA,OpenMP,HPX…
  • https://github.com/kokkos (many toolls like profilinf and mini apps)
  • Few new developements :
    • Kokkos/FORTRAN
    • KOKKOS + PGAS (early stage)
    • Also includes tasks (experimental ?)
